my crazy landlord stalled me for twenty minutes
now my mom just called
she made the trip from Miami
oh my god I am so sick from lack of sleep
i am cranky borderline complete wacky and having attention issues and can’t stay awake
sorry so sorry if you’re not mad you can come
but I can’t drive

i have no sleep
in twenty four hours and only a couple hours the night before
it’s been an issue since last Saturday
but I feel like my body is in shut down mode
things are really tight
i am waiting for my refund from my two dropped classes
i have five dollars
it could take up to a few weeks

he looks distracted

there’s that old man walking his dog
i’m convinced the dog wants to run away
but doesn’t
because he’s nice
and knows that if he were to do such a thing
the old man would die
but more importantly
he would be hungry

can’t wait

one more minute

just another day

maybe next week

soon, i hope

clearly i can wait forever

the first floor

her window is always cracked open.
she smokes.
her gaze is often downwards, beyond.
she drinks.
her radio is on.  always.
she wants for others.
her place is being worked on.
she has nothing to fix.
everything is fine.
